A spot for me to blog on life in my garden, where I grow things, read things, drink tea and ponder. An important principle for me is living a simple life - to live simply so that others may simply live

Farewell my beautiful princess
Pepper March 1996 - 26 June 2010 Words cannot express how much I will miss my beutiful princess.
Oh Tamara - I am so, so sorry to hear about Pepper. I hope that her death was fast and painless for her although I can only imagine the pain that you must be in right now. I will be home very soon. Thinking of you and sending lots of warm hugs until I get there. xox
Oh, I'm so sorry. I know how painful it is to lose a pet, we just lost our dog two months ago and I'm still sad. But I remember how much fun we had together and that makes me smile. Just think how lucky you both were to find each other.
I'm so sorry you've lost your sweet friend. Many years ago, I lost a (human) friend and one of my pets on the same day, and some women friends gave me a sympathy card for each loss. They knew one was no less painful than the other and so do I. You're in my thoughts Tamara.
I am so terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I've been through this personal heartbreak before, and my heart does wrench for others who have to go through it, as sometimes others don't realize how difficult it truly can be when losing a pet. I hate using that word pet, anyway. Family is a better word, I think. My thoughts are with you through this difficult time.
Again, I'd like to say just how much I have appreciated the kind words you have all left here. Each day there are small reminders of just hw much we loved her, and just how sad her passing was. But I wouldn't want those memories to fade.
